Fort Collins makes growing up magical. I’ve come to learn that it’s a very special place to raise your kids. Perhaps it’s because the citizens and leaders are continuously raising the bar or perhaps it’s because we have 300 sunny days a year. Whatever it is, I feel blessed to call this place home.
My husband and I are transplants from the windy city. We met in college, fell in love, got married, had some kids, and the story continues.
My children are very cute and pretty darn smart. I understand all parents say this about their own kids so that idea is nothing new. My mother is Korean and my dad is Caucasian. My husband’s mom is Caucasian and his dad is African American. Our children are a mixture of all the things. Needless to say, we have a diverse family.
When I’m not busy writing the blog, I’m probably involved in my kids or husbands sports activities (managing or watching, driving to, driving from), working out, reading some scholarly journal, drinking wine, or writing.
My goal with Growing up Fort Collins is to create memories with my kids, be a resource for readers, share ideas of things to do in Colorado, learn from other parents’ experiences, and just getting out there and living life.
You can connect with me on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest or maybe we’ll see each other around town. As we grow together, I look forward to building community, exploring Fort Collins, and writing about my experiences as a mama.
To a bright future,
